Thoroughly clean and remove any existing coatings. A pristine surface is vital for ensuring that the epoxy adheres effectively, forming a robust and long-lasting bond with the quartz granules.
Apply Epoxy 100 Clear at 15-20 mils then Broadcast quartz onto the coating surface until rejection. The objective is to eliminate any shiny, non-covered coating.
Allow the Base Coat with broadcasted quartz to dry for 12-hours (4-hours for Broadcast Primer). Sweep off quartz from the first broadcast.
Allow the Second Coat with broadcasted quartz to dry for 12-hours. Apply the Grout Coat of Epoxy 100 Clear. Back roll the product with a 3/8” nap, woven roller cover.
Apply the desired topcoat, which can either be Polyaspartic or a High Solids Urethane.
